This project ecosystem is designed to be free and open source for anyone interested in making custom communication modules with solar and battery management systems.
All projects are open source — recording all the data, parts, and software used, so you can build these units at home. There will also be the ability to buy ready-made units, like the Leaf car stereo and communication modules for inverters or battery management systems.
We're also looking at cloud server access as well as local server options.
Feel free to contact us if you have questions, anything to contribute, or want to know how things are done. Everything will be recorded, the software will be free, and we'll be able to supply hardware — like universal modules and adapters.
Replacement stereo system for Nissan Leaf cars featuring Android Auto, WiFi connectivity for car statistics, built-in LeafSpy features, CAN bus communication, and a modern Android-based interface.
View Project →Communication modules that talk directly to Deye inverters to record all inverter data into a central database, enabling a bespoke solar monitoring system that works independently of manufacturer apps.
View Project →Modules to communicate directly with JK BMS units via RS485 and other interfaces, supplying data to WiFi and Bluetooth networks. Enables superior data access without going through an inverter, ideal for multiple BMS setups.
