Replacement stereo system for Nissan Leaf cars featuring Android Auto, WiFi connectivity for car statistics, built-in LeafSpy features, CAN bus communication, and a modern Android-based interface.
This project aims to give Nissan Leaf owners a modern, fully integrated infotainment system that also serves as a car data hub — reading CAN bus data, displaying battery state, range estimation, and all the metrics LeafSpy provides, without needing a separate phone app.
The unit will be built on Android hardware with custom firmware and will be available both as open-source plans to build yourself, and as a ready-made unit.
